WORK AT ABI

The staff and faculty at Alaska Bible Institute is comprised of dedicated Christian leaders, pastors, missionaries, and theologians from a wide-range of gospel-focused theological backgrounds. These men and women have given their lives to train and equip students for life and ministry. All of our full-time staff volunteer their time. And, most rely on personal ministry partners for their financial income. This enables students to attend tuition free and places missions at the forefront of what we do.

KITCHEN SUPERVISOR

Full Time.

This position runs and coordinates meals for dorm students, providing a healthy menu and facilitating a family atmosphere for our students.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Creates weekly menus and meals for dorm students and summer work teams
  • Keeps regular stock of supplies relevant to the kitchen
  • Manages kitchen crew schedule and responsibilities

OFFICE MANAGER

Full and Part Time Options. The office manager position oversees the supply, operation, and system of the ABI offices.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintaining financial platforms
  • Maintain office supplies
  • Receive and make office phone calls
  • Manage office email and direct information to relevant staff member
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements

INSTRUCTOR

Full and Part Time Options. This position works to serve our students and create avenues to train and equip them for hospitality and service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and instruct assigned courses.
  • Prepare and disseminate a syllabus for each course.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate learning
  • Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
  • Maintain an environment that facilitates learning
  • Assist and encourage students in their studies
  • Observe and evaluate student performance and development
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and development
  • Report grades to administration in a timely manner
  • Be invested in ABI’s larger goal of training young people for life and ministry
